Mainstage

Each year our Mainstage Season hosts some of Nebraska's finest performing artists and arts groups.   Our current season includes Noises Off, American Buffalo and Sweeney Todd. Encouraging area artists to create entertaining & challenging works on our stage is central to our mission.  We welcome proposals at any time.  Our Mainstage Season is announced in the fall and runs the calendar year.

In 2012, the Lincoln Journal Star selected four productions from our stage for its top ten performances.  These included our own Mainstage production of The Four of Us and  Flatwater Shakespeare's production of Angels in America, Part II:  Perestroika. In 2011, the Lincoln Journal Star selected four productions from our stage for its top ten performances.  These included our Nebraska Youth Theatre production of Monty Python's Spamalot, Flatwater Shakespeare's production of Angels in America, Part I:  Millennium Approaches, Nick Jester's original musical Chiropractical and OmniArts nebraska's Marginalia @ 40.
